You know many times we’re thinking where is and then the person is some star from the 80’s or 90’s but, this time it was more like where did Ke$ha go? Well, folks get ready to be shocked just as much as we were shocked, because if we didn’t know Ke$ha, trust us you wouldn’t know Ke$ha!! She Shocked everyone at the 60th Annual BMI Music Awards in Beverly Hills, California on Wednesday, May 16th. I mean yes the stars were out but who cares when you see this photo because she is making a statement, up staging anyone that I might have thought to bring to you all and she did it so smoothly that it just left everyone buzzing:

I know pick yourself up-off the floor; the normal grungy unkempt and messy Rock Star didn’t show up the other night, and trust us she was MIA for the whole evening. We saw Ke$ha with her tresses (hair) beautifully pulled over in a side swept style with a gold thread headband, soft elegant makeup with a pop of color on her lips like fresh cherries, then the to die for Black/gold asymmetric dress with black peep-toe shoes and black clutch (Shut the Front Door!), this is a very sexy grown up look for Ke$ha and I think we really love it!! This look is really faaaaaarrrr from where she comes from if you just recall the look of her Red Carpet bash reviews:

We put this question out to all of you Fabulous Fashion Savvy LaPazions; which style do you like best? The Met Ball is normally so Extravagant, lavish, glamorous but, this time its much more of Déjà Vu and low points in fashion, style and Couture Haute:

With this being put out into the air for you all we just have to say we hope you enjoy our Red Carpet coverage; and we start this Red Carpet review off with the Woman that has been recently named Via People Magazine as “The Most Beautiful Woman in the World!” Ms. Beyonce Knowles-Carter who wore Givenchy Haute Couture sheer lace and embellished gown with purple highlighting feathers on the train:

Okay, we know that you just had a baby 3 1/2 months ago, but this gown felt so wrong for her body and the skin tone mesh underneath wasn’t the right color and it looked like she was wearing a One-zee then it was very reminiscent of her Met Gala outfit from 2011 you know the Pucci gown, you don’t remember let me give you a refresher:

I’m going to say this is look does nothing for her and the hair and makeup was just too safe and very plain jane. We have to say the named “The Most Beautiful Woman in the World” should have gone in a different direction but, hey there is always next year.. Now Coco Rocha also wore a vintage Givenchy pant suit, which was very 1050’s and I loved how she just made this very retro paint suite modern by having the pink hair and the shoes I just loved this look and thought it was simple but elegant. Why I love the Met Gala so much is its not about so much of the celebs of what they want to wear its more about what the Designers and the Stylist have in mind for the celebrity, which bring us to this truly amazing Designer who looked just gorgeous in her own gown and the color complimented her skin tone. We give you the amazing, breathtaking and such a wonderful Icon in the fashion industry Ms. Diane Von Furstenberg:

Diane, just exudes such elegance and confidence and if I could change anything it would be the gloves I really don’t think she needed the gloves they looked a little to big on her but, it gave the gown a little extra push. Next on the Red Carpet was Florence Welch, who wore and Alexander McQueen gown. I am a true fan of Alexander McQueen, but I’m sorry this gown didn’t really get me that excited at all and it look as if it didn’t really fit Florence properly in the bust. What do you all think?  

OMG! Did you see Chloe Savigny in Prada? First things first where is the dress? Did she run out of close and have to sow coasters together and then just prey she could place them in the right area to cover up the Naughty parts (That’s taken from Catherine from Dancing with the Stars). I don’t like anything about this look and I think in all honesty, I was surprised that this was Prada, because it was just not anything I thought they would present but, then again a lot of times the Designers go with the energy and personality of the person they are working with, so may be this is her personality (Can I get you a drink?)

Now this next pair really gave me a shock when I saw them, and then it kind of gave me a little insight on why QVC models and host are styled not lets see how do I say this nicely? Sometimes you just wonder what direction they are taking with the direction with there wardrobe when we saw Lisa Robertson (QVC air personal) and Lori Goldstein (Stylist). This pair really look very happy on the Red Carpet, I was so distracted that we forgot to ask who they were wearing:

I was so shocked to see Rachel Zoe on the Red Carpet with Karolina Kurkova who by they way wore Rachel Zoe. If you didn’t tell me this was Rachel Zoe I wouldn’t have known because she look nothing like herself. Karolina looked just beautiful in this gown the head dressing really needed to be kicked to the side because, it isn’t a look that goes with this gown. This gown was so glamorous, that you would think that Rachel, just pored this dress over Karolina’s body:

  Oh Wow! Stunning Socialista (Italian) Bianca Brandolini D’Adda is on the Red Carpet looked to beautiful in this Golden Goddess gown by Dolce & Gabbana. This gown weighed a little over 22lbs and the jewels along the neckline and the belt are to die for. Bianca looked just fabulous in the cape coat and the gown this strapless gown just complimented her body 100%:

Hold the Presses-Unplug the Phones and did you get the Memo that Rosario Dawson looks smoking HOT!! I don’t know what she has been doing but, she look great and her body in this black Calvin Klien gown that seems to just hug her body. I loved her hair and makeup it just complimented the look:

Sarah Jessica Parker has a great sense of style and she always looks amazing in her style choices; but this gown by Valentino just isn’t it. I don’t like the pattern the bow in the front of the gown and the dress looks like its overwhelming her and that there is so much fabric that she has to keep it bold up in her hands all night just so she does not fall over the gown all night long:

This next celebrity must not have received the same invitation that all of us got, that this is the Met Gala, you know the Metropolitan Ball hosted by Anna Wintour of Vogue. That brings us to Gwyneth Paltrow who wore Prada but, it looked like she borrowed her little sisters dress, it was too short and the back was just not there and we also had side boob, loved the shoes that was the best part of the dress. For me Prada has struck a sour note twice this evening,  I just really thought they would have gone a little more glamorous and elegant but, it is what it is:

Wait is that Christina Ricci wearing Thakoon? I think she look so pretty in this black lattice gown with the pink big bow, Christina always has the classic look and does it so well, she kind of reminds you of a young Audrey Hepburn and just look regale: 

Well Marc Jacobs just showed up and is on the Red Carpet with his on-again-off-again boyfriend Lorenzo Martone. I know this season is big with sheer see through and lace but, I honestly think Mark took this so to the left with this dress, and we all know he loves wearing dresses but this look by Commes des Garcons, then you look at the shoes with this look and it just did nothing for him and I have to say this look is such a fashion DON’T:

This was such a star studded evening and all of the celebrities that attended did there best to look gorgeous and some did just that and other the jury is still out with them. The White House has the wonderful privilege of hosting again the 98th Annual Correspondents’ Dinner hosted by President Obama and Celebrity Late Night Host Jimmy Kimmel. This event is where Celebs get to mingle with Journalist and Politicians and everyone gets to network and let their hair down somewhat. President Obama, was his regular charismatic, Savvy and ever so dashing self. The celebs really showed up and they brought their Glam to a different level for this event and showed how classy and dignified they can bring their Style-Game:

Sofia Vergara wore this really cute strapless after 5 cocktail dress that really made her look so elegant and the simplicity of the jewelry was perfect. Loved this look we’ve seen her rock a lot of different gowns and dress but last night she just looked stunning. Then we on the Red Carpet was a very mature and very beautiful Dakota Fanning. I mean in all honesty she has grown up so much that you wouldn’t even recognize her! Dakota wore this beautiful beaded gown that just complemented her age and still also gave her that little extra something and everyone stated the same thing that she was just simply breathtaking:

I know right she is STUNNING!! I love the retro look that she is rocking and her new highlights in her hair just complimented her complexion and her figure is just amazing. Then the most beautiful Charlize Theron made her appearance in a to die for black gown that gave the illusion of being see through. I love how she can do elegant but, also some how make it seem a little knotty or bad, then she does very natural makeup and hair pulled back to that brings attention to her face, can you just say HOT!

Then we saw the football QB for the Dallas Cowboys Tony Romo who just looked okay in his tuxedo but; it was his wife that really stole the show Candice Crawford as you know had the couples new little bundle of joy and she looked F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S. I mean Candice, lost every inch of the baby weight and looked smoking hot! Then I’m always taken back by this next Actress, I mean she is such and amazing actress and has such a big heart when it comes to charity and just seems to be a wonderful person. Then you look at her and speaking solely on her fashion sense and you think something is just wrong; Diane Keaton is who I am speaking of and I love her but, she just misses the mark with this suit and top hat the glasses seriously Diane the Mad Hatter wants his hats back and Steve Harvey would like his suit back from when he was on the Apollo. I know Rashida Jones was like please NO don’t take my picture with her, I’m not with her, I don’t oh Damn they took my picture with her:

 Then looking really dapper was Singer Song Writer John Legend and his beautiful Fiancé Chrissy Teigen wearing a statement color of Red being bold and beautiful and letting everyone know that John is hers and the pose was just to post Angelina Jolie, the leg and John is just loving every moment of it. Kim Kardashian went with her mother Kris Kardashian/Jenner. Kim K. wore a simple green velvet gown with shoulder embellishments and Kris wore a one shoulder Red gown and her face looked a little pulled tighter than her dress:

Others that was in attendance was like Kelly Ripa, Eva Longoria, Arinna Huffington you know the founder of the Huffington Post, Goldie Hawn which by the way I think this woman has either found the true fountain of youth or she is getting little touch ups without anyone knowing and the little black slip dress with the lace overlay and the little white fur she looked stunning. Not as stunning as her daughter Kate Hudson, who looked just amazing as always showing off her fabulous body in a sequin gown:

OMG! WOW!! Have you all seen Rosaria Dawson lately? Well stop the presses because seriously she looks too good too be true. I don’t know if it was the amazing emerald green Tulip styled gown with the plunging neckline but, Rosaria has either starting eating or she is just coming into her own!

Then Lindsay Lohan shows up  a little late but, no the less she is here and I love the gown that she is wearing giving just enough skin but not going over the top, some said she had too much skin showing but hello did you see Rosaria Dawson? Exactly! Only thing, Who in the World Does her Makeup? Lindsay looks like she has some sort of clown mask on and this is one person who needs to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize and stop smoking and drinking she’s looking a little old and speaking of old Claire Danes, another one I didn’t recognize until someone told me who she was and the new hair color and highlights and low lights are nice but, she’s looking rather different as well:

  The next few women that attended looked just stunning and I loved how they carried themselves. Each of these ladies have a different way of show their style and how they selected their looks Zooey Deschanel, Diane Sawyer, Elle Macpherson and Kate Upton:

Then I saw that Mary J. Blige and husband Martin Kendu Isaacs was in attendance and Alicia Keys and her husband Swizz Beats showed up, Matthew Morrison and girlfriend Renee Puente, Ivanka Trump, Gossip Girls Chance Crawford:

Welcome to Washington Ms. Kerry Washington of the hit show Scandal who looked just to Fierce during the evenings festivities. Then former Secretary of State Colin Powell was also in attendance, True Blood star Anna Paquin and her baby bump just in case you didn’t know she was with her plus one:    

This was really a star studded night and everyone was at their best, it was so many stars that we couldn’t even get them all into this article. Like Actor Paul Rudd, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and boyfriend Justin Mikita of (Modern Family), Aziz Ansari this has to be such a beautiful fun filled night and I hope you all enjoyed our Fabulous White House Red Carpet Event!

There is always some sort of battle or controversy when it comes to the look that models have on and off the runway. Either they are too thin or just too heavy, and the masses say that models should be a size 2 to be considered a model but, then you have one that really sets the presidency and is the voice when it comes to the looks of models that have curves and the sexier body than the traditional model, and she also happens to be one of the Hottest Plus-size models in the industry; then all of a sudden this voice and advocate makes a sudden change in weight and look, that when she was out at a Charity Gala this week in New York City, you would not and most did not recognize her. Who in the world could I be speaking of? Its the one and only Fabulous Crystal Renn, you know the 5’9” Brunette bombshell who is a sexy size 14 Runway model, well guess what people she isn’t that any longer. Renn is now a Platinum Blond and is now per “Crystal Renn” she fluctuates between a size 6-10 now!! I know your jaw just dropped, hit the floor and you passed out, but you heard us correctly now we just must show you the major transformation of Crystal Renn:

I know such a major change in her image and Renn has been so vocal about excepting her as a real curvy woman and that she loved her body the way it was, and now Renn is stating, “she is happier that she can except herself and love herself as a size 6-10 and seeing that she is healthy.” I’m sorry but, I thought she was rather sexy at a size 14; and I would like to know what image and statement she is now giving to those young woman that looked up to her as the curvy, sexy model that was this fabulous size 14 and comfortable in her own skin?

Many would say this isn’t such a big deal but, this is and we cannot wait to hear what the masses in the Fashion Industry has to say in regards to the new slimmer Crystal Renn. One thing I do hope, is that someone sends Crystal Renn the memo that Platinum isn’t her color, and that she may have slimmed down but, looking healthy is more important than the size 6 gown she selected to wear to the Charity Gala!

We’re back for our next Designer which is Lakum Collection, I’m really excited to see what this Designer is going to give us after seeing Ann Mitchell Designs collection, with such a really cohesive and Fabulous way in which she gave us the quite and very sweet versions of her collection. it was like a little treat rolled up neatly. Okay, the runway show is about to start and the first look comes onto the runway and its rather simple, black pants with this muted bronze toned top and the model is wearing a beautiful head wrap, the first few looks that are coming onto the runway are really ready-to-wear looks and I can see these looks on many woman in their day to day lives:

Its as if I’ve already seen this already and I’m hoping right at this point that we’re going to see something else other than what is being presented right at this particular point. The next few looks that come out are still of the everyday look and even a great dress I would love to have for work because it just gives that very professional polished look and would be great for any board meeting or meeting with a client:

Basically we’re getting more of the same thing, I like the collection its just very one dimensional and it needed more to give it a feeling of being complete beside what I showed you above there was two other pieces these little evening dresses that where exactly the same just different fabric choices. I thought this was a nice everyday collection and that any modern woman could get wear out of it but, all and all she has to develop more:

Hey Fabulous Ones, we’re back for another day at the BK Fashion Week(end) and the weather is rather chilly so I’m loving the fact that I’m getting to wear my cute little fur from Rachael Zoe’s collection which is paired with a hot pair of leggings and this to sweet for words top from Charlotte Ronson. Just to let you all know today for us is going to be short because even though there will be a full-showing we’re going to catch only two of this evenings Designers and the first collection that we’re going to bring you is Ann Mitchell Designs which you can visit her website at http://www.annmitchelldesigns.com I have to tell you, I’ve heard some really great things about this particular Designer so, I’m a little excited to see what she is going to offer us. The show is about to start and again I have to tell you the lighting still isn’t that great and the music is still not so much what you would get at most runway shows but, the first look is out on the Runway and I have to say I’m liking this look and that the collection is more of a great evening wear.

The hemlines are very short and the asymmetrical hemline is big with this particular Designer and she loves the use of lace and we much like a futuristic use of beading on the garments. I thought some of the fabric choices could have been better but, all and all I love the direction and feeling of the collection I have to let you all see what we’re seeing thus far:

Like I said this collection is more of an evening/cocktail wear collection and the little details are very nice touches with this Designer as well. I did think that she could have changed up a little for us and gave us a little more diversity and color change it was black on black and just some parts of the collection felt a little juvenile like a young Designer still getting their legs up under them and making solid directional choices but, I love how Designer Ann Mitchell presented her version of the little tulip or bubble dress, very smart with the lace and symmetrical choices really thought this was smart:

Oh wow, she did give us a change in direction okay the sequins gown a lot of color gave you a little retro look which is nice with the season being the celebration of retro and somewhat of a look we’ve seen before, but then we see that she is using the sheer fabrics in such and amazing and very Fashion Forward manner. I did see one dress I could see on an A-list celeb for some Red Carpet event I loved this one particular gown due to the fabulous way in which the Designer did this gown and the skirt is sheer with a cute little black panty underneath with the sheer but kind of jeweled top and the up-swept hair just perfection!!

  I told you just brilliantly done and she knew she had a winner with this particular look from the crowds reaction to this garment and look! All and all I think Ann Mitchell’s collection is solid and very cohesive and she didn’t get lost in the ridiculous she kept it simple, clean and as stated before young; and we feel once she gets her legs under her more she is going to bring forth collections that are going to take your breath away. We have to introduce this amazing and very Fashion forward Designer to all of you, we’re excited to introduce you all to Designer Ann Mitchell of Ann Mitchell Designs!

We know how everyone loves to see the going on’s of what is happening behind the Runways, Stages, Red Carpets and more and we always love to give you that extra little sneak-peak at things prior to the shows start and what it takes in making any show a real success. We’re back and the next Designers collection is coming out on the Runway and let me just say there is no real brake in-between the shows so the way we have decided, to set this up is to do just a continued posting for each day, depending on if it is like what we’re experiencing currently. The next Designer up is Maxwell Williams HS, I don’t really know what the HS stands for but, lets hope its not Horrid Show. LOL!!

Seriously lets get back into the article and our coverage, the first look hits the Runway and oh, I guess its going to be a Masquerade Ball and this Diva is wearing a dress that we hope that the boobs stay in place and that Ms. Thing doesn’t fall on the runway. This collection seems a little young and that the maturity level of the collection isn’t really there yet, I’m seeing a lot of little fractures such as the fit and look of the collection is somewhat of a mistake you’d see in maybe a Designer that is showing for the first time. I like the possible direction and feeling of the collection but, I think I need you all to give your opinion to us and let us know what you feel about this Designer Maxwell Williams HS:

  Like I told you it was very different and I seem to use that word often during this runway show but, when your felling that you just left the Prom and a Masquerade Ball wrapped up all in one neat bow. Look if you hold on we’re about to be treated to another Designer during BK Fashion Week(end).

Here we are in New York its after Fashion Week and we get a call and we’re invited to attend BK Fashion Week(end), that is going to be held at Industry City @ Bush Terminal 241 37th Street @ 3rd Avenue. The show is also going to be a Charity Benefit with a Silent Action held on Saturday, March 31st. I’m heading to the venue and have to say its very nice and they select a great place to hold such a different kind of event, I’m very excited to see what comes forth from the Designers that will be presenting their collections to us. Well, I’m here and let me say there isn’t that many here just yet and we’re only like 30min out of show-time, I hope this isn’t what is going to be the first day I mean I know its Thursday, evening but still I cannot believe those of us who are New Yorkers are now taking to staying home. Anyway its show-time and the music isn’t really what I would think is Runway ready but, hey it is what it is.. The collection is being presented by Smarter Clothing which you can visit at http://www.smarterclothing.com the first look comes out and I’m not so sure if I’m liking this but, it very much something you could wear out in your everyday, but as more of the collection comes onto the runway I’m not sure if the inspiration for this line was a gunny sack or a Burberry bag?, I mean I guess I should let you all have a look so you can tell me:

Its very different I know but there is something that catches your attention about it.  I’m not very clear if the unfinished hemming plus the stitching showing I mean in all honesty I don’t know if this is something that we see. Then just when I thought it is just said and done my word something Fabulous and Fierce came down the runway and just blew me away. I loved the details and the patterns but, I don’t really see how this is a very cohesive collection in all due to how unfinished manner it was presented but, I don’t know that my likes and dislikes it was a great finishing:

I think this collection is great for the lady that has a very diverse lifestyle and is on the go, she has the business, looking just to have a little fun after five and to celebrate that she is all woman and having a great family is nothing but amazing and doing yet with style and taste! With this being stated I’d like to introduce you to the Designers of the Smarter Clothing Collection:

The weather has taken a major change and it’s time for the beautiful flowers to blossom. We’re not just speaking of blossoming outdoors,

 We’re speaking of fashions for the Spring/Summer season. We saw all over the runways the floral prints that have caught the eye of so many and I love the way that they are bringing them forth for all of us to rock, and you don’t have to look like you just bloomed but, you can look regal, classy and elegant in this seasons floral designs. We couldn’t help but take notice of these great floral trends that we think will help you along your pathway, even rocking them for formal affairs:

  You see you can rock this trend without looking like you just exploded in a flower shop, and the trend is elegant and tasteful. I thought when we started this article we was going to really find it hard to find the right kind of pattern such as what was on the runways, but in all honesty we didn’t really think we would find floral that didn’t just feel heavy and overwhelming, how wrong were we!! I mean it seemed like ever store from Macy’s to the little shops along the way had some sort of floral print-pattern and it just was refreshing, soft and bold and carried them in all sorts of colors. This made us start to look at this trend now for our casual girls and what was offered to them and let me just say I think you will be pleasantly pleased, ranging from friendly budget finds $15.99 Old Navy to $140.00 some of your finer stores:

The floral trend isn’t just for clothing it also looks fabulous on handbags and shoes:

 I know this is just to cute for words and such a great little feminine touch for the season, but, ladies make sure your careful on how you rock this trend don’t over do the floral trend. Meaning, do not put the floral shoes-floral dress-floral pocketbook and in some cases the hosiery, it will be overkill and will also be a true Fashion DON’T!! Try being subtle, like if you have the cute little floral dress, try pairing it with solids and pick a color from the pattern to give Pop to your handbag or shoes this will look Gorgeous and not overwhelming. Its always how you put the trend into action that will make you look great!
